Thanks so much for the up date - I can just imagine the effort that it must take to do this. I am a "Miss Maya's blog addict" and check constantly for postings. I shared it with Dr.R and she was so delighted. It looks like Maya had a great birthday party and seems to love being in daddy's lap. Sleep - what's that - yes, you are "parents" now! But we magically adjust and it all gets better, much better. Sleep when Maya sleeps or the tag team approach is always an option - mom & dad take turns sleeping. The pics look great - miss seeing you in them - Daddy looks adorable with his little girl! We'll eagerly stay tuned for more news - You will be home in less than a week - YEAH!

Aaahhhh! This little lady has star quality and a growing fan club too. Why else would we get up at 3 a.m. "just to see if there are any new pictures". She looks so soft and cuddly - we can hardly wait till the first time we get to hold her and stroke her dear little head and check out her tiny fingers and toes. She reminds us a lot of you, Angie, when you were that age, the dark eyes and hair and chubby cheeks. She's beautiful!

I cry every time I read new updates and can not imagine the feelings your are feeling. Maya looks sooo cute, Iam so happy you were able to share her 1st birthday with her. I was speaking with a patient and she said to me " Maya grew in your heart not in your tummy"! Iam very very happy for you and can't wait for you to come home!! ( To freezing cold and lot's of snow!!) And ,,most of all to see you three.
