Angela - I've been trying to get on your blog for the last half an hour and now I know I couldn't because you were updating it! What a BEAUTIFUL daughter you have!!! I'm so happy for you guys you've truly been blessed with a little beauty. Well I did a bit of research and it appears that she's from quite the spot of Southern China.
Info on Jiangxi
Known for its vast coal deposits, Jiangxi is one of the southern provinces of China. Characterized by crystal freshwater lakes and mist covered mountains Jiangxi in China is among the favorite tourist destinations for those who embark on China holidays. The unmatched scenic vistas arrest your attention and transport you into a make believe world of endless happiness and pure beauty. In fact Jiangxi is an important center for the famous Chinese porcelain.
Location
The Jiangxi province of China is located within the middle and lower reaches of the river Yangtze.
History
The Jiangxi province earned its name during the rule of the Tang Dynasty. Archaeologists and historians are of the belief that Jiangxi stepped into the Stone Age more than 3,000 years ago. According to historical records Jiangxi became an integral part of the Jiujiang Prefecture after the unification of China under the leadership of Emperor Qin Shihuang in the year 221 B.C.
Since the ancient time Jiangxi has been an important seat of learning, arts and cultural development. Jiangxi has been the birthplace of quite a few Chinese writers, painters and poets.
Tourist Attractions
Among the tourist attractions that you may visit during your tours to Jiangxi during your holidays with Holidays China are the Tengwang Pavilion, Donglin Monastery, Jingdezhen, Mt. Lushan, Poyang Lake and a number of scenic spots where you can go picnicking.
Things to Do
